Gina Podley is deeply interested in sound in film. She is studying Recording Arts at Loyola Marymount University within the School of Film and Television where she is immersed in the art of production and post-production sound for film, along with live, studio, and multi-track recording for music.
Gina has experience onset as a production sound mixer and boom operator, and in all facets of post-production sound for non-sync films, live action films, and animations. Her most recent project was a collaboration on an animation called Forever Dusk that included numerous animators, composers, and sound designers. Gina was responsible for the post-production sound design that included foley, ADR, sound FX editing, and mixing.
Gina is a student member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) and is excited to be embarking into the professional world of sound. She is ambitious and always looking for a new challenge to bring out the aesthetic contributions of sound in media. She looks forward to new learning experiences and approaches all projects with a high level of professionalism.
