Pierre Martin

Pierre Martin was born in Paris, France in 1958. After earning a degree in photography and design, Pierre started a self-taught career in music. After six years of touring extensively with professional european musicians, Pierre landed in Los Angeles in 1989.

With The Arts pulling him in various directions, and while rapidly adapting to the local LA food habits, Pierre found himself a stranger in a new landscape open to experiment with different musical concepts and sound medias. First as a bass player and music producer, then as a foley artist, and finally as a composer for commercials with a experience in sound editing and ProTools engineering, Pierre has proven to be an audio Renaissance man.

Pierre’s passion for motion pictures, and his capacity as a multi-instrumentalist has him recording a new instrumental album “Music For Films”, as well as new classical compositions for orchestra.
