Mark Ettel has been the lead mixer at Mercury Sound Studios in Glendale, working on literally hundreds of films and television shows there since 2002. With a background in all aspects of the mix, Mark has manned the dialogue & music chair and also the sound effects chair. Mark has mixed films in a “Virtual” mixing workflow utilizing Euphonix System 5-F digital consoles as well as pre-mixing in Pro Tools HD to feed the main consoles. He is an excellent Pro Tools mixer/editor and has an “expert certification” from Digidesign. Mark has also supervised mixes utilizing Digidesign’s D-Control consoles in a fully file based workflow. Additionally, Mark owns three Pro Tools HD systems, including a 24 fader ProControl with Edit Pack. Mark is also an active member in the Cinema Audio Society.
