Erik H. Magnus began mixing sound on location during the explosion of independent feature filmmaking in the 1990s. Coming up through the fast-paced indie scene provided an invaluable experience, honing a skill-set by thinking on one’s feet. A graduate of NYUs prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Magnus understands the nuances of recording crisp dialogue, and comes to set with a complete equipment package that features the latest digital, multi-track and wireless technology. Erik has leant his sound-craft to such films as Cheryl Hines’ Serious Moonlight, Goat On Fire and Smiling Fish to Dean Devlin’s hit television series Leverage starring Timothy Hutton. Based in Los Angeles, Erik is a proud member of the Cinema Audio Society (C.A.S.).
Erik is now local-hire in Connecticut!
