Zsolt Magyar is a Los Angeles-based production sound mixer with over 8 years of experience. Zsolt has mixed more than 140 productions, including 60 feature films. Additionally, he was nominated by the Cinema Audio Society for outstanding achievement in sound mixing for the TV film The Hollow.
Zsolt brings his years of expertise to the set along with an up-to-date multi channel hard disk recording system to capture pristine dialogue. He also has a number of wireless and boom microphones, wireless headphones and everything else needed for recording sound in even the most demanding locations.
Zsolt has been a Production Sound Mixer for feature films, short films, commercials and TV shows with experience in many production styles and single and multi-camera shoots. He has worked in all picture formats and frame rates: 35mm, 16mm, HD, DV. Zsolt has experience with Multi-Channel Hard Disk, DAT and Nagra recording and with lavalair and planted microphones.
Zsolt brings a positive and sincere attitude, enjoys working with a crew, and tries to make the production as easy as possible.
